I have been so lucky and honored to have been 1 of 6 selected choreographers to create new work on the talented dancers in Chicago. New Dances, now co-hosted by Thodos Dance Chicago and Danceworks Chicago, has been around for more than 30 years and has been the city’s most extensive in-house incubation programs. It has been a whirl wind 2 weeks, rehearsing in the beautiful Ballet Chicago studios on State Street. There was some big magic that conspired in those studios as the six of us choreographers got to creating. Come check out what we have to offer and be a part of the Chicago Dance commUNITY as we celebrate local performers and choreographers.
I’m so proud and pumped for the premiere of “Idiosyncrasy Frequency” that opens Wednesday, June 19th at The Athenaeum Theater, Black Box! Our run extends further with performances on June 21 & 22 @ 7:30pm, and June 23rd @ 3pm.
