2022 EVENTS

9/3 – 9/4: Guest artist for Dance Incorporated summer intensive. Teaching contemporary classes that are open to the public, ages 8 -18. Ellisville, MO

7/2: Performing “SLIP” with Stilgo Dance + Tech in Columbus, Ohio. SLIP is a rotating dance performance and interactive installation that explores how the labor of dancing and the ideals of craftivism are woven together through feminist values. This intimate one-day-only event will be held on Saturday, July 2nd with performances at 6pm, 7pm, 8pm, and 9pm.

3/4 – 3/5: Still Inspired(?): Interwoven spring show. Performing the works of Brian Hare, Annie Conway, and Laura Thurston. Still Inspired (?)​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ is a dance performance showcasing the inspirations of multiple independent dance and visual artists. With four pieces and four choreographers, the performance attempts to share visions within the realm of art between “still” and “live.”​ This season, Still Inspired (?) will feature local Chicago visual artist, Miguel Del Real.

2021 EVENTS

9/14 – 9/15: On faculty at Brighton Dance Festival in Michigan. BDF is an annual summer event that includes a wide range of intensive training classes taught by professional dance educators, company directors and choreographers.

9/4 – 9/5: Guest artist for Dance Incorporated summer intensive. Teaching contemporary classes that are open to the public, ages 8 -18. Ellisville, MO

5/23: Premiering a new duet at Chi Dance Fest 2021 hosted by Simantikos Chicago Dance, in collaboration with Christina Morrison. Outdoors at El Paseo Community Garden, Chicago, IL

3/1: Premiering the dance film “schema” virtually through Still Inspired(?)’s 7th season.

2020 EVENTS

8/3 – 8/7: On faculty at Brighton Dance Festival in Michigan. BDF is an annual summer event that includes a wide range of intensive training classes taught by professional dance educators, company directors and choreographers. *VIRTUAL*

6/26: Premiering the dance film “Reverence 6” virtually at DanceChance hosted by DanceWorks Chicago.

2/21 – 2/22: Still Inspired(?): Influence spring show. Performing the works of Lizzie MacKenzie, Annie Conway, and Lauren Blane. Still Inspired (?)​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ is a dance performance showcasing the inspirations of multiple independent dance and visual artists. With four pieces and four choreographers, the performance attempts to share visions within the realm of art between “still” and “live.”​ This season, Still Inspired (?) will feature local Chicago visual artist, Mary Porterfield.

1/23: Performing the premier of a new work, “I, we, three.” in collaboration with Alexandra Stilianos. Emerging Choreographer’s Showcase, part of Trifecta Dance Collective’s A New Light festival. Stage 773, Chicago, IL


2019 EVENTS

11/23 – 1 1/24: Performing “eventually our minds forget the details in our hearts” choreographed by Abigail Stachnik. Take Up Space is a dance festival focused on female choreographers hosted by Peckish Rhodes Performing Arts Society and Moon Water Dance Project. The Den Theater, Chicago, IL

11/10: FUSED, an evening of works presented by Francesca Baron and Kaela Norwood, LINKS Hall, Chicago IL

11/8: Performing the self choreographed solo, “Float the Brain”, at College of Dupage Fall Concert as an invited Guest Artist. Belushi Performance Hall, Glen Ellyn, IL

10/16 – 10/20: Residency at Lindenwood University, teaching daily class and creating a new work on the dancers to be premiered at their annual Fall Concert, St. Charles, MO

9/20 -9/21: Performing “choices” choreographed by Kaela Norwood. The Forward March of Women, is part one of the Art + Activism series presented by Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble. Ebenzener Lutheran Church, Chicago IL

8/23 – 8/25: Performing “soft landing” choreographed by Maxine Patronik. Choreographers Showcase, Detroit Dance Festival, Detroit MI

6/19 – 6/23: Premiering “Idiosyncrasy Frequency” at NEW Dances 2019, hosted by Thodos Dance Chicago + Danceworks. Atheneaum Theater, Black Box, Chicago IL

6/14 – 6/15: Presenting “Do Not Disturb (fissures)”. EMERGENCE Showcase hosted by Alluvion Dance Chicago. The Edge Theater, Chicago IL
